Not every dog thrives in a pack—and that’s okay. Our Private Play program is specially designed for dogs who aren’t comfortable in group settings and need a more individualized experience.

Whether your pup is shy, reactive, or just prefers solo adventures, they’ll enjoy one-on-one enrichment time with our experienced team in a calm, controlled environment. From gentle walks to interactive games, we tailor each visit to match your dog’s personality and play style.

If we observe during a temperament evaluation that your dog isn’t suited for group play, we may recommend Private Play to ensure a positive experience for everyone’s safety and happiness.

You can book Private Play as day care or as overnight care, depending on your needs. Either way, your dog will be cared for with patience, expertise, and aloha.

Activities & Enrichments

In Private Play, your dog’s day will consist of at varied schedule that may include some of the following activities:

Leash walks: encourages sniffing and exploring around our 2.5 acre farm

Fetch Play/Tug of War: caters to your dog’s natural instinct and burns energy

Treadmill Walks: mental stimulation that engages a dog to concentrate on maintaining pace and balance

Hide and Seek/Puzzles/Kongs: stimulates your dog’s problem solving skills and high sense of smell which challenges them to work for their food

Lick mats: encourages licking that may have some calming effects

Water Play: a fun outlet for those dog’s that love water and allowing them to cool down

Bubble Play: a fun activity that triggers your dogs natural instinct to chase and capture

Small Group Play: customized with your dog’s friends

Helpful Info

• A Temperament Evaluation Reservation is required for first-time visitors. Owners may request a temperament evaluation at any time to reassess their dog’s eligibility for group play and playgroup eligibility status may change at any time
• Reservations must be made at least 24 hours in advance and are subject to availability
• Private Play day care is closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day
