To help keep every guest safe, happy, and healthy, we ask that all pet parents take a moment to review our policies below. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us — we’re here to help.
Service-Specific Policies
Day Care: Reservations are required at least 24 hours in advance. Day care passes can be shared among dogs from the same household and expire one year after purchase. Due to additional staffing needs, an extra fee applies to drop-offs and pickups outside of regular business hours. Payment is due at checkout for individual visits. Day care packages must be paid in full in advance and are non-refundable once purchased.
Extended Care: A 50% deposit of the estimated pre-tax total is required to reserve all overnight dog boarding stays. The remaining balance is due in full at pickup. Rates are based on a 24-hour period. If pickup occurs beyond the 24-hour window, additional fees apply: $10 for the first hour, $29 for up to 4 hours, and $39 for a full day (until close of business). Cancellations must be made at least 3 days prior to your reservation to receive a full refund of your deposit.
General Policies
Kamaʻaina K9 Adventures reserves the right to update prices and policies without prior notice, and to refuse service at our discretion.
Vaccinations: All dogs must provide proof of the following before entering any play yard or using any service:
- DHPP vaccination
- Bordetella vaccination
- General fecal test
While we do our best to remind clients of upcoming vaccination deadlines, owners are solely responsible for submitting updated records. Failure to provide up-to-date vaccination and fecal test documentation may result in cancellation of services.
Temperament Evaluation: All dogs must complete a one-time temperament evaluation before their first day of service. This evaluation is conducted by a senior staff member and helps us ensure a safe, social environment by observing your dog’s behavior in a variety of situations.
Aggressive Behavior: Kamaʻaina K9 Adventures reserves the right to deny or discontinue services for any dog that exhibits repeated, unprovoked aggression toward people or other dogs, as determined by management. In such cases, no refunds will be issued.
Communicable Conditions: For the safety of all our guests, dogs must be in good health and free of communicable diseases, including (but not limited to) Bordetella, giardia, and internal or external parasites. If illness or infection is suspected, we may refuse service at our discretion.
Fleas & Ticks: Every dog is checked for fleas and ticks before entering our play areas. If pests are found, the owner will be notified and may choose to either pick up their dog or approve a $25 flea and tick treatment before entry.
Food and Medication: We are happy to serve owner-provided food with clear instructions, or house dry food for $2.50 per cup. Medication administration is available for $3 per day.
Forms: All required forms must be signed by the dog’s owner before any service can begin.

- Use of Data – Your data is used only to provide SMS-related services. We do not share mobile data with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.
- Message Frequency – You may receive multiple messages per month, depending on your preferences and activity with our services.
- Opt-Out – You can unsubscribe at any time by replying “STOP” to any message. You may also contact us directly to be removed from the SMS list.
